Copperheads select next Assistant General Manager

The Copperheads are pleased to announce the selection of Jessie Martin as the Assistant General Manager for the 2010-2011 season.

Jessie is currently in the first year of the Sports Administration graduate program. She brings a high level of energy and enthusiasm to the team as well as a solid background in sports. Jessie has interned with the sales departments for the Kansas City Wizards (MLS), the Scranton Wilkes-Barre Yankees (MiLB) and the Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis athletic department.

Outside of the office, Jessie is remembered as a cornerstone for Ohio University’s highly successful field hockey team. As a two-time team captain, Jessie led the Bobcats to two MAC championships and was named MAC Player of the Year in 2007.

She will follow Alex Vitanye, the current Assistant General Manager, sometime prior to the beginnings of the Copperheads’ 2010 season.
