In additional to his recent role with the Copperheads, Mott has served as
pitching coach at Marietta College for the past three seasons where he helped
the Pioneers win the 2006 NCAA Division III championship and make a return
appearance in the Division III World Series in 2007.
Now Mott will coach the Battling Bishops for the 2008 season
and replaces Tom Durant, who resigned to pursue other opportunities after
guiding Ohio Wesleyan to a North Coast Athletic Conference championship and an
NCAA Division III regional runner-up finish in 2007.

Mott is a 2004 graduate of Ohio Wesleyan.
During his Battling Bishop playing career, he earned first-team
All-America honors after batting .408 and compiling a 12-1 record in 2003. He was a 4-time all-region selection and
earned All-NCAC honors at pitcher, first base, third base and designated hitter. He continued his education while at
